Cassava Flour Marble Cake

The marble cake is a classic in pastry. With this recipe, you can make either a full-sized cake or mini cakes as we suggest.

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 yogurt (the pot will be used as a measuring cup)
  • 3 pots of YAKÉVA cassava flour
  • 2 pots of sugar
  • 100ml melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons pure cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, vigorously mix the yogurt, eggs, and sugar.
  2. Add the YAKÉVA cassava flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar. Stir until you get a smooth batter.
  3. Finally, add the melted butter and mix again.
  4. Pour 1/3 or half of the batter into another bowl (depending on how much marble effect you want) and add the pure cocoa powder. Mix well.
  5. Grease your mold if it's not silicone. Pour in the batter, alternating between the plain batter and the cocoa batter. Then, swirl the batters together in the mold using a skewer or toothpick.
  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.
